Our New CNC Machine

July 13, 2017

The term "CNC Machine" is typically used to refer to a device which uses a rotating cutting tool which moves in 3 or more axes (X, Y and Z) to cut out or carve parts out of different types of materials.

CNCs are incredibly versatile and allow you to cut a variety of different types of products and materials. Typically most CNC routers can cut soft and hard wood, plastics, MDF and other composites and non-ferrous metals.

Prior to purchasing the router, we were outsourcing CNC machining at some expense and with the usual variables on quality and reliability. As these requirements escalated to meet increased levels of business, it was decided to bring them in-house, enabling savings in production costs, a faster response capability and minimal turnaround times to the obvious satisfaction of our customers.
